White Crane Lagoon

Early morning at White Crane Lagoon,

Life was quieter as May turned to June.

The tourists and planes stayed away,

Panthers and Spoonbills increased each day.

 

Long time ago, Indians warned us,

White man would disrupt and cause a fuss.

The whole world convened to discuss,

How do we all solve this virus?

 

Scientists searched for solution,

While day after day, less pollution.

Families found their way outside,

Enjoying walks or a bike ride.

 

This tiny invisible virus like a deadly ghost,

Taught all of humanity how to live life to the most.
